Acts 20:24 (NIV)
Jambos is founded on Acts 20:24 “For my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned to me by the Lord; the work of telling other the good news about the wonderful grace of God.”
“So, how does it work?” We are so glad you asked. Jambos partners with local churches, schools and businesses to host pajama drives. Pretty simple right? We work together with ordinary people to do extraordinary things in effort to bring comfort and to show these children that they are loved by us and by God. We like to consider ourselves a huge fishers net of resources as we then donate all of the pajamas collected to local agencies on behalf of YOUR organization. We want YOUR organization to be the hero…we’re just here to help. Ultimately, the pajamas are just a tool that we use to share a love much bigger than these kids may have ever known. Our mission is simple but should not be considered small. We have experienced God’s love and we are called to share it.
John 14:27 (NIV)
“You are not alone, peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you.”
Our hearts beat for these kids. For their parents. For their foster parents. We started this entire organzation because of the stressful, uncertain, and even scary journey they all face. But because of God’s love for us, we know they are not alone in their journey. Although we understand how they could feel alone; we exist to remind them of God’s nearness. Our prayer is that we are able to introduce and/or encourage them in their faith journey. That maybe, just maybe these pajamas will serve as a tool to share Biblical truths with them.
At Jambos we are passionate about serving others with high level of excellence. That applies to all areas of our organization. From business relationships, to volunteers, to the pajamas given to children. We strive to provide great experiences from start to finish. This is also why we have chosen to collect brand new pajamas with tags attached to present to the children we serve. We believe that this gift is just that. A gift, not a hand-me-down, not an afterthought; but an intentional act of kindness and love. It is important that they receive our best efforts.
